NBA & Tissot Unveil 2016/17 Shot Clock

Here at TTT there is nothing more that we like to see than world class sports recorded with Swiss timing.

On July 8, 2016 in New York City, The NBA and Tissot (the official timekeeper of the NBA) launched their 2016/17 season shot clock. The new clock will be used throughout the Samsung NBA Summer League before it is used in all NBA arenas in the 2016/17 season.

The clock boasts a ‘groundbreaking integrated timing system and a new shot clock with innovative LED glass technology‘ along with increased transparency, increasing the crowds viewing experience. Testing involved dropping a steel ball onto the display from a height of 9 meters without damage. Sounds like a challenge to us!
